i strongly disagree with Tainted-Trixter this is a great game the only thing that would make this game better is a pause button other than that PURE WINNER

I thought it was an ok game, but it did seem to have some flaws that really stopped it from being anything more.

1. The weapon switching. This for me was actually a pretty major annoyance. I would be wandering around happily killing zombies with my shotgun, and then I would stumble upon some uzi ammunition, and my weapon would change to the ever useless uzi. I can see changing the weapons when they are first picked up, but it shouldn't automatically change every time a "higher level" weapon is picked up. For example even when the heavy machine gun (which I actually want to use) is picked up It still has to be reloaded. and by auto switching you put us into kind of a negative position as we are fighting back the hordes.

2. Weapon switching part 2. Even though the game annoyingly switches each time you pick up a more powerful gun it does not switch down when you run out of ammo. If you are going to bother having weapon switching, this is where it should be.

3. No breaks. Really? Consider adding at least a brief screen or pause between each wave. For a never ending game no pauses or real breaks can get a bit annoying.

4. Not very much variation. Again, this is an endless game, 4 zombie types and 5 weapons is only entertaining for so long.

5. No goal. An endless and hopeless battle isn't really worth fighting. Consider adding a goal to the game. Even a difficult goal, so that there is some kind of victory to look forward to in the end. As it currently stands there isn't even the ever popular high score competition to look forward to.

6. Weapon balancing: The weapons were poorly balanced for the level. The shotgun was a great step up from the pistol, but the uzi was a step down from the shotgun. The heavy machine gun was a good final weapon. Consider giving the uzi a larger clip and a faster fire rate. Consider making drops of health and better weapons more frequent as the game progresses. It does need balance.

I think the game was OK but that was really all it was. I think if you take this and make some changes it could become a pretty fun game. I think you should think about the weapon balancing and the auto switching. As well as find a goal for the game. As this stands I think it is fair to give it 2/5 and 2.5/5 stars. Keep trying, you have the basics down, you just need to finesse it some.

Thank you for the time with your review.

I will hopefully implement the ideas you have suggested in the next Version Release. Especially the Pause feature and Weapon Switching/Balance updates.

I really like the controls, and fluid animations. simple sweet concept.
I think it could really benefit from nice background music though and other sound effects!

Background music will hopefully be added to the next version release, so check back soon ;-)

This is pretty good. It's fast paced and keeps you on your toes. However, once a larger gets past you there really doesn't seem to be a way to stop the people from being zombified. Your town tends to be kind of doomed at that point. Other than that, Good job.

We are looking into slowing down the running animal so it's a little easier to kill in the next version update.
