Final piece for my Advanced digital studio practice module, where by we had to do a short animation about an area we visit frequently. I chose the local mall, which is like 2 minutes from where I live and where I used to do the weekly shopping.

I wanted to show the mall as a temple to consumerism, liking it to part temple, part hospital, with its sterilized bright clean floors and walls and lighting. I also wanted to show how there is very little variety (hence the re-use of images on the wall to represent a certain type of store (the diamond for jewellry etc)) amongst all the stores, and its just the same copied, mass produced crap put on offer for the consumer to purchase in their binge buying frenzy.

Sounds a little different in some places, sorry about that.
