I thought this was a very nice game! The coolest part about it was probably how well everything was set up. You got a great sense that you were in a world with a lot of enemies coming after you. What's also amazing is how there are so many good designs in this, yet it isn't very complicated. I will say that I am very annoyed when you get to that one boss who seals you in a room with nothing with himself in it. He doesn't automatically kill you, but always hits you there.
The music was also good and it gave off a good sense of being in a technological world. You just never knew what was going to come up next in this. It was quite fast paced, so after awhile, you just have to make sure not to get hit. It seems like you practically go into the blasts, they're so easy to hit! It's a good game.
Loved it. the controls are very fluent and sleek which gives the feel of asteroids in my eyes. the progression of difficulty is spot on and can get very cluttered with enemy's at times which is nice as a challenge. although the upgrading system is basic from what iv seen(got past skynet and a little further). it would be nice if the upgrade orbs could been like tokens for upgrading your ship between boss fights as for more variety in how you choose to play. but, if you were going for non stop action then i can see why you have chose the upgrading system you have now. Could really see myself playing this game a lot and it really deserves a spot on Newgrounds.
thanks! glad you liked it.
I agree with Wojoe66 on his 1 and 2, however, an alternative to getting rid of the text could be to just move it to the side so that those who do not wish to read it can ignore it. I would also like to ass something. I meant to say "add".... oh well, I'm leaving it there. Anyway, there are five medals that aren't showing up for me. I know I got all of them, but these didn't change when I refreshed. The five were; Crash Course, Fox Two, Super Stylish, Blindsided, and Experienced. Also, I would like to suggest another medal. One for completing a game without using the U drive.
As for the rest of the game, it was amazing. I was playing Perfect Dark earlier today, so that hit home immediately. I loved all the music. The visual style was enjoyable. It might have been my computer, but the movement was a little slow. In the end, that made it easier for me to appreciate how tight some spaces can get. It was also a great difference going from straight shots to slower, homing shots. I loved that. Thanks for making this.
A very great game, and I liked the remixed version of the Perfect Dark music.
Not too bad, playing on a laptop so having trouble with the shooting but i made it pretty far regardless =)
