1. You can modify controls after dying to Lilly once.
2. You can press down+jump to slide
3. You can replay the game to find something more challenging

Katawa Shoujo is a bittersweet romance visual novel where the reader roleplays as Hisao Necktie: a highschooler who has become afflicted with a heart condition that forces him to enroll at Yamaku, a school designed for physically disabled students. Hisao eventually copes with his new condition and regains a new outlook in life with the help of one of the five possible romantic interest; all crippled in some way or form.

Katawa Shoujo: Symphony of the Feminists is something completely different.

Did I mention you guys gave awesome reviews? The praises were great but the criticisms were even better, it lets me know exactly what players liked and hated. All other reviews I've read elsewhere are one line spams that are shit, but this? this is pure gold. Thanks for putting time into this.

A lot of fun, second boss took a few attempts, but I admire the fact it was hard without being stupid and ridiculous. My only complaint, which I won't knock you for it the stiff controls, preforming an action right after another often didn't work, even if the command was as simple as turning around after you land. Still though, I think if the controls were as responsive as I would've liked, the second boss would've been just a tad too easy then, hence why I still feel the need to give this a 5/5 rating.

I'd love it if you made another game with this Castlevania style and bosses with these kinds of move-sets and difficulty.

ShadowWhoWalks responds:

I'm glad the difficulty worked for you, I'm trying to grasp the fine line between frustration and challenging and it doesn't always work out too well for everywhere. I'll see what I can do about the stiff controls; you're not the first to complain, and I've plowed through the game too much and got numb from the inconveniences.

Very entertaining, but I think the hardest part of this game, being a fan of Castlevania, was to NOT press up+attack to throw the sub-weapon. Other than that, very fun. 5 stars.

Ara ara. I freaking love it.

Though I think the entire thing is one big in-joke that one really cares for. Took me 3 tries to beat Lilly, and HOW DO YOU BEAT AKIRA?!

And sorry for being a waifufag. But I'm pretty closet about it.

The controls take time to master, it looks like you wanted them to be that way. Regardless, this game is super cool!

OMG, If no one noticed, The Replay boss is also from Megaman Z4, It's a Revamp of Craft, from the resistance (who was also overpowered on a first run)
