Cuboy: Back to the Cubeture 2 kicks off with our ultimate hero Cuboy lost in ancient times. Boss is missing, Evil Padrino is taking over and the Lord of the Underworld has stolen the time-warper!

Can Cuboy save the day? Will Padrino mess Time right up? Does it really matter? Is this a tower defence game? What's for dinner? A/S/L?

This is an extra special treat for us, releasing on Newgrounds. We get to give you loads more medals, AND there is of course some ultra fine Newgrounds talent doing voices in this game. Can you guess who? One block of butter for each one you guess right!

An excellent game. This chapter is just as fun as the first Cubeture, but with a lot more content.

I do think there's room for improvement. The dialogue trees could afford more diversity. I'd also like it if we didn't have to hear the same introductions each time for certain characters.

Perhaps the biggest fault is in the gameplay for the Gladiator/Battle Fort Battle Minigames. In the gladiator fights it's almost ridiculously easy because of the poor character AI. It only gets worse when you add more characters that all share the same health bar. Rather than getting harder each turn, this makes it easier. Just saying, that needs improvement.
As for the fort battles, there's a major glitch that makes the game extremely annoying. If both teams have the flag, neither can score. It's annoying that I can't finish the minigame without hunting down the opposing player who stole my flag. Add the same bad AI and the fact that it slows down my computor and you get one frustrating minigame.

Asside from that, Cubeture 2 is a great point-clicker that's pretty easy to follow. I really look forward to Cubeture 3. Hopefully sooner than later.

EdibleCastle responds:

Yeah, I agree with those comments about dialogue and AI. Dialogue is going to have a big re-haul in part 3 to make sure it's streamlined and never repeats itself unless you ask it to.

As for the Gladiator and BFB minigames, we did our best to make these fun and not stupidly easy for the average joe. As a result, decent gamers find them really easy as soon as they realise the AI isn't very clever. Hopefully we will have a chance to make smarter AI in part 3 if we have minigames like these.

Thanks for playing!
