Very Easy!I enjoyed the game

This game is hard. It's pretty frustrating when you fail at least 5 times on normal mode before seeking help. The difficulty starts to skyrocket as you get to the end of the game making any mistakes unforgivable. I've been using the tips people have been leaving in the comments and it still took a number of tries to win. I believe in making a game challenging for the player but this was too much. Part of a good game is designing it so that it is possible to win despite making mistakes earlier on. The ability to correct these errors adds to the feeling of accomplishment the player gets when he/she finally wins. By the time I finally won I just felt like I got lucky. The art was beautiful, the gameplay was smooth, and I enjoyed the concept of the game but the difficulty made it nearly impossible to enjoy these elements. Please take this into consideration.

Thanks for the fantastic game. I like almost everything about it, and I would like to see a sequel or another game with similar mechanics. I agree with some of the other posters that there should be some kind of persistent carryover of skills, money, or some other aspect that increases strength from game to game. This should be especially so if you are defeated, making the next play a bit easier to increase your chance of success. I would also like to see you expand on some of the existing areas.

Note to players...focus on revealing the entire map, then go after the goodies or the mooks. Grab the upgrade for extra silver on mountain tiles first, then multi strike and bamboo armor.

A good game, but you had better plan your upgrades out *very* carefully if you want to win the last couple of areas, because they are merciless. Sometimes the shadow clones are your best friend, and others the super slash does what they can not. I've found that the brute is a great ally if you buff his health a few times, and in general having at least one other solid figure can really change the course of a battle.

Try to steer clear of the useless upgrades, like souldrinker, and spend your silver wisely, as it carries over between areas. I go for increased silver gain and than multi-strike, followed by swifter energy gauge fill and then it's a toss up between buffing shadow clones or one of the bonus damage's.

However you play, the game is generally a fun time.

I didn't like this game, and here's why:
1. No skill.
2. Constantly repetitive.
3. its easy, easy, easy, easy, boring, easy, boooooring, and then the last stage is impossible to beat, so you play though this whole terrible game and the only way to beat it is to play the last level like 500 times until you get enough upgrades to beat it.
what a pain in the ass, I give this game 0 stars.
