Maybe I'm just in a generous mood, but I liked it quite a bit.

Its biggest problem is that it announces what the joke will be. I avoided rating it based on that, but predictability is comedy's uncle that comes to the party drunk and kind of ruins everything. It's the very same reason why the movie is only worth watching once.

The joke is really good, and I don't think anyone beat you to it. However in the future you want to let people know it's an escalator in a different way, drag out the cry for help just a bit, and then let the audience figure out that it's an escalator. BAM, comedy gold.

I heavily encourage you to create a collage of clips with jokes like this, perhaps varying a bit, with the same art style and submit it to the portal. Such flashes are really popular but most of the time don't have the same feel of casual effort that I find so endearing in this particular flash.
