Hey! Use arrow keys. Enter to start game. And be patient while it loads from tape. That is the part of being oldschool.

Hey, Don't listen to those who say "this game is crap". Obviously these guys never lived when these kind of games were around, so they don't know what it suppose to be.

I like the idea and oldy graphics. However I couldn't even get through the first level - keep hitting the blue icicle above the key. You should of made the first level easier to pass. Otherwise the game is hard to beat from start - and player gets aggravated too soon, and stops playing. See my point.

So I think you should try again at those old time style games, but keep in mind - make it easy in the beginning - so the player would get a chance to get into the game and start liking it.

P.S. - 2 lives?? shouldn't it be 3 by default?

This game is flawed in many ways but i think if you didn't die by grass it would be somewhat better

Colecovision? Atari? Not sure.

I'll use the benefit of doubt, to believe that this was a remake of an 80's Computer game or a parody of it. The controls are very UNreliable and the scenery didn't exactly made me want for more.
TL;DR Maybe I would like it if I had the time of the world to play this game thousands of times but no. I'm a retro gamer myself and even I need to recall that (pseudo) nostalgia can't fix the biggest flaw - which are the controls, a HUGE part of the gameplay. No matter what kind of game, if you can't decide as a player what and how you want to achieve your goal then I can't realise how
you can convince most people out here to give this a high score.

In short: I'm not trying to be disrespectful and saying your efforts aren't worth anything but next time you want to make a game like this, give some more explanation of what to expect. I believe I'm one of the only guys here who is trying to understand what you want to achieve with this.
Kind regards nonetheless.

Hi! Thank you for your review. Could you help me a little bit? What exactly is wrong with controls (what do you mean by unrealible)? It is also would be nice to know your platform (windows/Mac/Linux) and flash player version (right click somewhere on the game, about flash player then).

Thank you!
