Here it is. Megaman X vs Zombies II. I've been at work on this for quite a while, and fixed many things people didn't like about the 1st episode. First and foremost, the audio this time is much better quality. Second, the text has been revamped. You can click with the mouse OR use the spacebar to proceed. Wait, why are you reading this? GO WATCH IT!

Yea, I know, it's short, but I'll make sure the third episode is worth the wait XD

Getting better

Hey, it's been awhile since the first episode! Glad to see you're still working and improving. The sound and animation is much better, but the dialogue is still weak. I like the space-to-advance feature you've implemented, definite improvement there. The main issue with the dialogue is that only a few words are on the screen at a time. If you zoomed out more, you could fit more text, and the sprites would also not look so pixelated (it's in quite close as it is).

I had no problem with the "oh, so they're called zombies" line... X is from the future where humans are largely extinct, if I recall correctly, so it'd be no surprise he wouldn't know about them. ;)

*IMPORTANT* I experienced a major glitch the first time I watched it - the movie opened with Stinky on the Hunter base screen instead of where it's supposed to. So basically it played the last half and that was it. I didn't realize until I hit replay, then it played the whole thing.

Nice improvements, and an interesting cross-over concept, so please keep working!

Yay! You've given me a point higher than my first attempt! Thanks a bunch XD And yea that bothered me too with the text. In the lab scene, it's the worst. I could only fit 3 words at a time. That's a section I'll definitely improve on.

P.S. Thanks for defending that infamous quote- the way it's set up, Megaman X is still learning about the zombies, that's why Signas ordered him to investigate a sample.

not bad

I agree the dialogue does make X sound a little stupid, but whatever. Just some bad wording, it happens. The only think I don't like was that it was so short, which is why this is a 9 instead of a 10. Considering how small the file size is, you should have been able to do a lot more. Well, I'll be waiting for the next one.

NanoSoft responds:

Thank you for the honesty. I had more in mind, but I decided to use it for a later episode.

good job

like the whole idea of zombie vs megaman, work a bit on the dialogue if u want ppl to take it more seriosly, dont charged it with so much animations and the flashes, make it safe for ppl that are sensitive for it, other than that, background music and work on fights animation that make it a lot better.

NanoSoft responds:

I had a fight scene animated, but I felt it was rushed. I felt that I should leave an entire episode for an EPIC fight, rather than cram in a silly fight within this one. This one was more of a plot episode, but action will happen later.

I don't know if you're just some guy lazy on Ideas but the diolouge is terrible.
Megaman:"Oh, so they are called zombies"
That line makes megaman sound like a retard. Why?First glance,I would think "OH crap,a zombie!" because I know what a zombie acts like.

The story is not creative at all.
A zombie teaming up with sigma?Sounds like something a 3 year old made up.
I will admit that the animation was nice for a sprite movie and had no problems.
I hope you take what I say into consideration

NanoSoft responds:

This is a crosssover. Megaman X still doesn't know what zombies are. In this series, this is the first time he hears their name. In the first episode, he kills one, but he didn't know what he just killed. It'll get explained later on how the two worlds (Megaman X and Plants vs Zombies) joined together in the first place. But you do have a good point- I should further make my story clearer, which I appreciate.

-It looks like you've put alot of effort, and time into this.
-I've missed the first episode, but this one kinda got me interested in whats going on. I think I might take a peek at the first one as well later on.
- The effects that you've added were cool, like the flshes, but be careful of of the people who are sensitive to flashing =0

You did well with this. Keep it up!

(ClimbLadders) 4/5
