Does it ever end? I had all the upgrades by wave 20 and after that I just held the mouse button down and the enemies barely even made it onto the screen. Played til wave 31 just to see if anything else happened, then gave up. Just seems FAR too easy to be worth bothering with.
Didn't see the point of the human defenders - just used the fist attack for the first few levels until the upgrades started piling up and then I didn't even need to use that, just held down fire and obliterated everything. No new enemies after the first 10 waves or so, didn't seem any point continuing.
Could be interesting if you tweak it a bit though.
Fairly nice and addictive gameplay. However, it would be nice if the spawning of human defenders was less random so the player could use them strategically instead of just hoping they spawn where they're useful.
Also, it needs some sort of reward. An achievement system or a cutscene would be nice, but even just some scrolling text and some victory music would go a long way.
One other thing, I think the fist is too powerful. I remembered it after I started a new game and I didn't see the need to use my regular attack when I used that. It needs a cooldown or something.
It's quirk and fun, but...
All of a sudden, it turns into a barely comprehensible nightmare.
It's a nice twist on the Tower Defense basic plan, and although I took my time to learn the controls, use the ground-fist wisely and deploy the human assistans, it still served a great time.
Until Wave 11, that is, when the difficulty rose a few notches. I had plenty of spare knights and mages (don't know why but kept killing those robin-hoods) but still they were useless against those swarms.
The tutorial felt like reading a book while skimming through its pages, and I didn't found how the multikill feature was helping me, perhaps with bonus credits? It's nowhere to be seen, sorry.
It's a neat idea, and it can be improved a bit more.
