I'm not the type who likes something on Facebook just to get a tidbit of bonus - but this. This Game. It's full of asdfghjkLOVE. (Though I will remain calm as I review this, hard as it may be!)

The art is clean, crisp - and oh my am I hearing news that the game might be on STEAM? - and has smooth animation. I love the graphics, to be honest. The pixelated look is down to the minimum if you play it in High Quality. "I can't play it in HQ because it lags the game!" I'm not sure if it works for *everyone* since the computer system's performance may vary, but I turned off the lights for NewGrounds - as in, the lightbulb icon at the top right corner of the game screen. The game's running on feather feet for me since, even at high definition resol'.

The background music fits the setting very well; I get all fired up after hearing the war song. There are also sound effects, which is good. Oh, and did I mention? There's voice acting. Old English accent, I think. xD

Everything, is controlled by the mouse. :) If you've played Tower Defense games before, you'll know that *all* you have to do is *just* planning, clicking, waiting, rinse and repeat.

As I've mentioned in the Graphics section of the review, as long as I had the Lights off, my game would not lag - in fact it was almost like blitzkrieg for me. :0

I may sound biased - I've no idea how to judge my own review - but I truly do recommend casual and TD fans alike to give this game a shot - you might even grow to have a soft spot for it like I do even if it's not love at first sight.

Art: 5 stars
Sound: 5 stars
Controls: 5 stars
Gameplay: 4.5 stars (like 99% TD games, this one isn't immortally addictive either)
Overall: 5 stars (4.8 stars)

P.S.: Adding in a side-story would be nice, too. Like the Pokemon Tower Defense game.

I like the game and was going to donate. But the price was 5 bucks! Stuff that you can get professional games of steam for that much

Takes my breath away, the music, the graphics and the balance. I fell in love as soon as I started playing. Thought I'd won the last level when [[SPOILERS]] It changed!!!! ;'( Let's try again!!

Just hard enough to be satisfying

Once you figure out which towers are good v which enemies it gets a bit easy. But very well balanced, keeps you on the edge. If you are stuck you can slowly earn upgrades to make things easier...

great work. best TD game on NG
