"The owl men are here, and they're so very hungry."

Gary Mason, former head of security, Outpost:Haven.

A distress call wakes you and your crew mate from C-Sleep. A suspected rad leak at the nearby Outpost space station needs investigating. Don't worry, it should just be a quick jump in, jump out job...

The first time that creepy music played, I nearly shat brix. I like how difficult the game is. It gives the player an eerie feeling of just plain being fucked. Great job.

great game (but i need help with a tech prob)

i'm enjoying playing this at the moment only pausing to leave this comment, smooth actions and great xp and upgrade system, i'm also loving the look of the game design particularly the levels themselves. I'm having one problem in that my mouse isn't tracking the aim as i assume it should be so im having to point and click to aim in a certain direction, anyone know why this may be as i can't for the life of me figure it out and this def deserves to be played at its full potential...

i first played this game on Andkon, and i loved it so much that i started recommending it to people that i knew. i had endless fun with this game and spent much of my time using the plasma rifle and the china lake, along with watching the entire 'plan nine from outer space' movie. god, it was horrible, but it was amusing to see an actual movie included with this.
hope that part two comes along soon, and that it's at least as good as this one.

This is again one of those "come out, come out where ever you are..." and suddenly a "EAT LEAD ALIEN SCUM" kinda games... AND I love it!
Totally cool.
With a Co-op multiplayer it wud be even more so.
Some bugs here and there, but still AWESOME!!
PLZ do somming cool so the game would be even better than now!!!!

Thanks :)
So many people have mentioned multi-player that we've really got to look at it, although single player O2 first.

Great game

and outstanding job on concept, production, execution.

Some small gripes about the challenges.
1. I just started coding myself but I can't figure out why both "swarm kills w/o laser sight" and "story kills w/o laser sight" stop advancing. I'm sure it has something to do with buying modifications and using different weapons but I've tested a couple different setups without success.

While writing this I just realized i could start a new game in winamp and observe when "w/o sight" stops advancing as i buy weapon mods.

"It's not a bug, but a FEATURE!"
2. Just buying the modifications for a weapon you use will advance their challenges even if they are not being utilized. A small blessing considering how grueling, fulfilling all those challenges seem to be as

3. I'm not sure exactly what level the challenge progress bars began at 50% but I noticed it after lvl. 3 for many of them. The numbers here should be tweaked. Starting at 0% and (maybe?) decreasing the amount of experience required to fulfill, assuming you give the player half the amount needed to level in a category and this isn't a cosmetic problem. Well, I are confuse here, and this seems counter-intuitive.

The challenges need some tweaks but the attention and detail to every other facet of this game is amazing. Congratz and pm me if you would like anything further from me. 10 and 5.

Cheers mate.
Yeah the challenges aren't what's known in the trade as "Bug free", them increasing purely 'cause you own an attachment even if it's not fitted is a new one on me.

Here's a tip to someone just starting coding, don't do challenges, they're a massive ball ache :)
