Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of March we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 72 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in April!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

The second Professor Layton game had two sadistically difficult sliding puzzles at the end - and being the way I am, instead of looking online when I gave up, I wrote a solver to get past them for me. A few months later, I realized that this was the perfect tool to create my own similarly frustrating puzzles as a sort of revenge, and put this quick project together.

Click and drag the pieces around - your aim is to get the gold piece to the goal. You can also share your achievements on Facebook if you want to spread the pain around.

I like it because it's difficult.

What's the approach you used in solving the puzzles when you wrote the solver... is it a random movement generator, or is it intelligent?

Okay te ae is unplayable due to lack of asy ability o move pieces around. I've played these games before andthis is one of the worst versions I've come across.

Its a shame because I like these types of games. :-/

How impossible!
