A call to all our fans! Our latest game has been announced!

Our newest game is called Rogue Legacy, a procedurally-generated Castlevania with an in-depth heritage system. super proud of it, but right now we need your help to get it on Steam.

If enjoyed the games made in the past, it would mean the world to us if you could visit the page below, and give us a vote on Greenlight. /sharedfiles/filedetails/

Your galaxy has been invaded by melodic celestial bodies, and you've been tasked to save it. Bullet Audyssey is a rhythm-based shoot 'em up where you must "Survive the Beat." Absorb enemy bullets and fire it back at them, slow down time, upgrade your ship and level up.

We wanted to try something new using music as a template for the game mechanics. Many thanks to the incredible musicians on NG, where we got more than 85% of our music.

We hope you guys enjoy it!

Quick Controls Explanation:
- WASD, arrow keys, or numpad to move.
- Z, comma (for WASD) or SPACEBAR to shoot.
- X, period (for WASD) or SHIFT to slow time down.

Many apologies for the long loading time (it's a music game after all). Make sure to try out the tutorial while you wait!

After 4 days of playing

I must say: this is surely a magical. This game is one of maby 8 that i actually come back to play here on newgrounds. The music in coordination with the bullets must have taken days to calibrate. Your work is not unapreciated.

I've played too many SHMUPs to keep this game from me getting perfect on everything, even before max level at 18 right now. Still very fun game just have to find that secret medal.

I love this much...

I can't even tell you how many "dang" moments I had on this game (and I've played Touhou). I was actually genuinely proud and impressed with myself for being able to get through some of these levels, which is a great thing to get in a game.

+ Amazing feeling of accomplishment.
+ Manly difficulty without being unfair.
+ Good length.
+ & - Having to fire in full bursts to do the most damage. Kinda lame because the burst is stopped if you get hit, and that alone made me retry levels multiple times, even if I didn't die. It's cool though, because it actually forces you to be fighting longer, instead of just mashing away at the boss. Also helped me to actually pay attention to the music, instead of ignore it.
- All the bosses made of the same lines and circles made things repetitive in terms of visuals.
- Some of the graphics seemed a bit sketchy (particularly the lasers). Kinda distracted me for a few seconds.
- Nothing else really. Game is nice and polished and I didn't get any bugs.

5 OUT OF 5

I would actually pay for this if this was a full length game, honestly.

Unique and difficult.

Hard but forgiving, with good music and an interesting bullet eating mechanic.
This is good stuff. Might just be me, but it feels like the slow mo fades in and out if held long enough. To be honest I was annoyed at the difficulty, until I guess the game just "clicked" and I discovered I was able to move and shoot at the same time. derp.
