I thought this movie was gonna be about rape. Is therapist really written like that? "The rapist", wow. Well I'm a little disappointed cuz of no rape...
10/10 5/5 Damn funny work! The animation wasn't perfect but there is a style to it and the imagination and humor in this flash is incredible. Great job!
Pretty darn good
There's so much that's done right in this, it makes me feel a little bit bad to comment on the things that needed improvement, but hey - that's what critics are for.
I loved your voice actors, and they worked really well for the film. Not sure if you realize this or not, but the therapist doesn't sound anything like a real therapist should. Like I said, it works, but it was a bit disconcerting for me.
I ordinarily like this kind of sparse, low-quality animation, but it typically works better in films that are constantly using the animation for the sake of comedy. This film didn't have many visual gags or comedic demorphisms or whatnot beyond Ganon turning into his boss form. So with that in mind, I think this film could've benefited from a higher quality of art.
The topic of Gerudo reproduction was something I had always wondered about (FYI, I'm pretty sure that the women kidnap males to keep as slaves or something), and it was funny to see that addressed in this. I liked how you didn't dwell on the innuendo, but quickly moved on - this kept it from being too crude.
Above all, I didn't like the ending. I was hoping for some big surprise or twist, like the therapist's next patient being Link, or the therapist BEING Link, or something else. You had such clever writing throughout the piece, it was disappointing to end with such a dud.
Anyway, those are my views. 8/10 5/5. Good job, you earned it. =D
Thanks for the review!
Definitely know what you mean about the ending and you bring up a lot of good points for improvement. If there are any future episodes I'll definitely smoothen out the animation more and plan out the visuals a little better.
Rock on!~ :D
