This has got to be one of the greatest tower defense games I have ever played. Before this, I played games like Pokemon Tower Defense and Gemcraft, and I loved those games. A lot.

With this game, it really exemplified why I love tower defense games. I could go on for a while as to why this game is awesome.

This game plays uniquely. You are not just building towers (or in this game, plant trees), you are also making extensive use of spells. The spells are very useful, and they are crucial when dealing with more powerful enemies and foes with special abilities (exploit weaknesses of foes). I do not see games that play like this that often. Boss battles are awesome, too! You are not just wailing at them with trees and spells, you do some kind of "mini-game" type thing before you can even harm it!

Bloom Defender has a smooth difficulty curve, meaning the game only gets slightly harder, but not too rough at random points of the game. For those who have the guts, the hard mode is there to stay. On hard, you fight more enemies and more powerful ones, and some rock formations block you from planting in strategic locations. The game fairly challenges the player without being sadistic, and the game can still be rewarding! Earning the medals may take some effort, but the game seems light on medals. 350 points in six medals is pretty good, though.

I absolutely love the music of this game. About the graphics, here is Juicy Beast, providing artistic bliss in just about every single game the team ever released. Their games always please my eyes, and this game is no exception. The colors are marvelous, and the detail is somewhat plentiful for a cartoon art style.

The only thing that could be improved upon is to...maybe add more levels and achievements...I guess? How about making the levels less drawn out?

The "gripes" are so minor they do not matter at all.
