The objective of FlyOver is to do a recon mission over the terrain shown, flying over the points of interest (the star symbols) and taking a picture (p key). The plane is controlled with a (left) or d (right). The closer the plane gets to the star, more points are awarded with a maximum of 20. Only 6 photos may be taken per flight, so they must not be wasted if the player wants to maximize his score.
The mission will terminate by either running out of fuel, or flying into a mountain (darkest spots). The objective is to land the plane on the middle of the runway, and then that flight will be over with a bonus of up to 100 points for returning the plane safely.
The complete game consists of 4 flights, each with a different map of terrain. Note the first two maps are easier, the last two harder.

I like it, room for improvement.

its a nice little game, i really like the flight mechanics, it would be a great game, if not for the graphics. I mean seriously? it looks like this game was made in paint, also, sometimes the plane behaved really strange, like on the last level it just steered to the left on its own, so i couldn't avoid that mountain right in front of the airfield. Also the whole shoot the stars didn't really seem fitting, what about real recon of cities or something like that, and the whole landing procedure was really awkward, because i managed to land perpendicularly to the airfield Anyway.. i really hope you can remake it with better graphics and more levels.

Oh and with better graphics i mean skies of war style.(portal/view/382167)

Thanks for the constructive comments. The maps actually were made in paint. Right now, I don't know why the plane would steer on it's own. But once again, I will take your input and work on it. DM

Not terrible, but boring.

I couldn't keep my interest for this game, the controlling of the plane is so slow that I thought the game was actually being unresponsive. There's no sound at all, the art is pretty bland and nothing really pops out and interests me.

If you fix the speed of the plane, the art and add sound it would be significantly more interesting to play
