Inventive spook show, it's up there with old Snes games that came from nowhere to impress the hell out of everyone.
One the more incredible of short games i have ever
This was really really amazing. The character designs, backgrounds, enemies, user controls, and level designs were perfect. Many people complained about the gameplay, such as hitting the walls and sides, but i think these features of the code are quite accurate as to what happens when a person with high velocity and some angle collides witha cieling, or with the side of a platform. I thought the controls/gameplay were excellent. The game is more enjoyable and can get away with harder and cooler things because the player isn't constantly counting his remaining lives. This also allowed the game to be longer. As to the story told in this length it, like some of the graphics, were over-the top, but were awair of being so. The hyperbole of the messages, and ov the events and outcome of the game serve to reveal how insane and terrible things seem to the characters ensconced in their own narratives. So baring the overdramaticism, the plot/ messages as well as the level designs and backgrounds (particularly the specific way the layers of backgrounds moved dependant on the character's motion) were all strongly evocative, and the playing of the game along with the fitting soundtrack only augmented and accented their affect-iveness. Well done!
ek's lief vir die kunste
die gameplay was eerlike middelmatig. nie afskuwelik, maar middelmatig. iets wat ek het meestal geniet was die kunste. absoluut fantastiese kunste, meneer. ek dink dat jy moet 'n kunstenaar word.
Boring as hell
Intesting concept but poor exectuiion. game is slow in physics and slow to start.
Great atmosphere, needs work on symbolism
Me personally, I enjoyed the game. It was atmospheric and I personally enjoyed the eerie sounds coming from it. However, I felt like it could've been improved somewhat. The platforming was way too fiddly and there were times where I accidentally dropped into the death pits when I was trying to cross the bridge. The combat felt like I was playing something akin to The Breach. The gun, in my opinion was tacked on and didn't fit the character. I would've personally given Oyeatia a sword instead of a gun for offensive, one that you can attack others and in the air, but you have to be up close to do so, making it a symbolic choice to be the warrior or the defender. These are just my opinions, but I think it would've made it a better game if you implemented it. Other than those, good job on the game.
