This is my first flash game :) and i would love to hear what yall think of it :) -
This started as a engine template for games i would make later. and as i started to finish it up, it didn't really need much more added, it really played fine as is. So, I morphed around some of the objects to give is a unique noir black and white art style.
My action script coding is still new, so right now the game is lacking a few features I want to add, but my coding ability just won't allow it :( So sorry (hope to soon be) fans.
features like - highscore list, final score at end, explosions upon killing an enemy.
So I really hope you enjoy it, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK. positive or negative.

Update 1.1 fixed some internal bugs with scoreing, as well as a final score on the end screen. lastly re-sized the mute button so that is is no longer taking up a 1/4of the screen :P thank you all for playing :)
Good start for first time
I have to vote low due your competition though. You have a good start but some objectives would be nice and upgrades of course. Biggest issue you are going to have in my opinion is making this different from all the others of this type. Best of luck, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I can very much so respect your opinion. Making some more objectives (other than don't get hit) and upgrades, and the stuff along those lines.
Worth playing with for a bit
The game is simple I understand you are refining your scripting with this project, but something about the minimalism of the game is nice too. The scheme keeps you focused on the game, even though there isn't much to it. Otherwise, it runs smoothly and it's kind of fun, hopefully soon you will employ your talents towards a larger project, or be hired by somebody in charge of one.
thank you very much for the compliment, and for 'understanding' my 'art style'. But don't sugar coat it. XD At the moment it is a bit minimalistic, which i do want, but as is might be a bit far. Gonna try to fix problems like the score in the final screen, more defined objectives, and some type of upgrades.
