1. Depending on the limit and betting structure, players will place out blinds and antes so there is an initial amount to get things started. This is called posting.
2. The dealer shuffles up a standard deck of 52 playing cards.
3. Each player is dealt two private cards face down. These are called your hole cards or pocket cards. 4. Then there is a round of betting starting with the player to the left of the blinds. This is the preflop betting round. Like most games of poker, players can call, raise, or fold.
5. After the betting round ends, the dealer discards the top card of the deck. This is called a burn card. This is done to prevent cheating.
6. The dealer then flips the next three cards face up on the table. This is called the flop. These are communal cards that anyone can use in combination with their two pocket cards to form a poker hand.
7. The player to the left of the dealer starts another betting round.
8. After the betting concludes, the dealer burns again then flips another communal card onto the table. This is called the turn.
9. The player to the left of the dealer begins another round of betting. In many types of games, this is where the bet size doubles.
10. Again, the dealer burns a card and places a final card face up on the table. This is called the river. Players can now use any of the five cards on the table or the two cards in their pocket to form a five card poker hand.
11. There is one final round of betting starting with the player to the left of the dealer.
12. After that, we have the showdown. Players who have not folded reveal their hands, beginning with the player to the left of the last player to call. Players use a combination of their pocket cards and the community cards to form a five card poker hand.
13. The player who shows the best hand wins! Although sometimes players with the same hand split the pot.

Game is glitched

The max bet should be 700 instead it tops at 100, the best hand not always wins sometimes you have the highest pair and you still lose

Bad AI

two 3's and two 9's on the table. I have a 9 and opponent had a 3. Both full houses but he won. Pretty sure because after the full house(even though that's all five cards) he had a J and I had a 10. That's how the last time worked where I lost when I should have won. I also lost to a lower strait and another(lesser) full house. All three times the computer had the "6th" high card over me. At least that was the one connection I saw.

The computer needs a better AI. They always bet/check with me and never re raise or fold when they clearly have a losing hand.

not very realistic.... you bet higher and the ai does the same. Not many people would follow a suicidal sporattic hand like I did, yet I was mirrored in each hand. Also, the system is messed up. I had a straight, yet lost to a pair. Finally, the system doesn't seem to work in the player favor. It seems particularly against. I didn't get a pair until my 6th hand.

Tested by a PokerStars Player

This game has functionality but im agree with all the reviewers : The game is glitched and needs debugging by fixing the code of hand rankings . Computer win most with worse hands most of the time with Two Pair against my good 3 of a kind , straights and full Houses . even you can be Surprised if you form 2 pairs with Good Hole Cards and computer has lower 2 pairs you lose!!!!

Other Aspect is that the betting structure is fixed to be a constant of 700 as Maximum Raise. even in Pot Limit you intent to improve the raise as the pot is increasing with the player bets.

The most fun Betting structure to try is the No Limit Holdem Cause you like the excitement of bluff or challenge the AI with ALL IN Good Hole Cards like AA and get their chips . With the limit structure computer always calls like a dumb and doesnt fold!!!

This Game works but Works Badly that needs a total Code Checking Again and Re-upload again an improved versionTo Newgrounds nic234!

If you like poker practice with Governor of Poker 1 and 2 until this Game Title is fixed!!! Those Governor of Poker have a similar Wild West Cowbows and excellent code of Playing Poker even so realistic emotions!

Good Luck in your desire to love and enjoy poker!
