This is my second flash animated episode. It's been created for an assignment at my arts school, but also with the intention of starting a new web (mini) series. The story is very simple : Roger, Luna, Pencil and other characters yet to appear on stage, discover the world of Midgame. Each character is shapped accordingly with the first letter of his name. In this episode, they discover Time and his unbreakable energy shield.
You may ask yourself what is the sense between all their cultural references, between Aragorn, Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Independence Day ships you see in the main title among others. What's the point of having a grandiose intro and outro when the episode is short and simplistic? The answer is once again simple : there is none. This work is slightly inspired of Samuel Beckett's "Endgame" (hence the title Midgame), it's ment to look absurd. This light, relaxed atmosphere, as opposed to deeply philosophical atmospheres, is the idea I wish to promote :)
