The Bastards Were Right 100 Points

Play the game on December 21.

Author Comments

I made this game based on an idea by @petermolydeux on twitter:
"Game where an asteroid is about to hit earth, the aim is not to stop it but to say goodbye to every family member. You have 120 of them."
I used reduced graphics, sound fx and story elements to fit the original idea. It's just about the goodbye. The end is unavoidable.

Use the arrow keys to move around your character and touch your loved ones to say goodbye!

If you're Impatient about getting the The Bastards Were Right Medal I have a cheat for you that actually works.

1. Change time and date on you're computer to December 21 manually
2. Refresh the game page
3. Open the game and you instantly get an easy 100 pts Medal.

Not the best asteroid game, but not the worst. 120 family members is ridiculous.
The medal works, and I earned it.

If this guy wasn't such a WHORE, maybe he wouldn't have so many "loved ones." Fuckin...

i played bettre

That Peter Molydeux, eh?

Simple idea=simple game. Being a die hard of Majora's Mask, I've always wanted to tinker with the idea of time and what you choose to do in dire times. The music strongly gives the feeling of incoming doom and acceptance of death, drawing me into trying harder to accomplish unlocking the next level. I found it a bit odd that people who were higher up on the screen died first from the asteroid. Perhaps using a shadow in the center (perspective), shakiness of the screen, fire in the sky... Having it like that would make it harder to see, but then again, it's a bleak outcome for the inhabitants of the world.

Nicely done, but don't forget what you learned from this game to help improve the next project.
