Crystal Story is a turn based rpg that uses a random dungeon generator. You control four characters and configure what skill sets they learn along the way. You can earn equipment upgrades that will help you traverse through Evil Cave by destroying monsters or playing minigames.

Thiz is for Sanguine and claymore. tavern wen u start the game (u will see it wen u start) then look for something that says feed slime....first though...u needa hav some slime food. You can get som by killing and defeating enimies. sometimes they will drop slime food, for example, shiny bone, or a shovel. Tan go bak to 'feed slime' thing and u can feed!

For Sanguine, i dont really kno wut u mean but ur probably deleating ur browser? or i dunno.....

Well hope dis helpz...and EPIC this iz so fuckin amazing and ya.

A great homage, and a great game!

I was very surprised to find out that this was the author's first game - for a free game made in flash, it's fun, has a light and quirky sense of humor, and is a solid RPG while making references to things both present and past.

Your party consists of four likable heroes who are on a quest for gold - and possibly glory and heroism. Each hero can spend points to improve in one of three jobs out of four possible - meaning one character might be able to choose between putting their level/skill points into fighter, mage, and rogue, while another might have the options of rogue, healer, mage.

The system is strong and flexible - I'm fairly certain you could have a good, interesting and successful game whether you blend your classes or embark with a party of healers and mages. The deciding factor for stats is not your skill or level, however, but your equipment; a model I'm normally not too fond of that works well here, due to the highly random nature of the dungeons and the potential to respec your characters to see what most suits your needs/inclinations. If you feel you've messed up, it's a paltry some of gold that scales to level to respecialize all of your characters!

Of course, there is a lot to click - only worth mentioning if you have a touchpad like I do, and I still played through even with the risk of carpal tunnel. A portal marker for the town portals would have been nice, but is obsoleted with scrolls that you can use anywhere, anytime. Players who are used to fetch quests may feel unfamiliar with the old school 'there is a dungeon there. Go explore it!' gameplay - but I promise it's worth a try.

Add in some fun minigames, a refreshingly brisk and silly story, and a random dungeon + the option to continue delving after you've finished, and what more need be said? I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys RPGs, character customization and games that are simply fun. And if you ever happened to play a very underrated game called Mystic Quest, check this out for some sheer nostalgia. :)
