Can you identify the composer and title of these 12 famous pieces of music, as well as which century they were written in?

Features music used in great films such as "Apocalypse Now", "2001 A Space Odyssey", and, er..., "Twilight".

I thought the in-game instructions were clear, but apparently not: you mark your anwers yourself by clicking on the "ticks".

Cool, but

I did pretty well by getting all but 3 - but I agree with multiple choice here. I agree with you however that these pieces are relatively well known, however most people only recognize the tune and nothing about it (I.E. the composer or piece......especially the century)

Your choices were fantastic. Just great. Maybe do another one. You could do it on the sub genre of classical of movie scores or something. Cool man.

Too hard

For a quiz, it works. But very few people (myself included) would be able to answer all of those correctly, provided they even know what all of the songs are (I didn't). So yes, it could work as a quiz, but it's a bit too difficult. If it were multiple-choice, maybe it would be better, but that it's a subjective answer makes it much more difficult.

Well, as far as quizzes go, i guess it works.

But you're making it too difficult for people who don't listen to classical music frequently to answer correctly. The Answers should come as buttons, with multiple choices, except for an open-ended answer that might be wrong if i don't write the artist's name correctly (i wrote "wagner" without a capital W and didn't get the score because of that, see where i'm getting to?), it makes taking the quiz extremely time consuming and boring.

Next, try adding a bit more eye candy to the flash, if the quiz is about classical music, i don't understand why there's a background more suited to techno of the 80's and a black font that honestly clashes horrible with the background. Its legible, yes, but not pleasant to look at.

All in all, it just needs polishing. Also, try adding correct answers written by yourself with a short explanation of why, when and where, like when did X artist compose it with a bit of trivia, instead of "it was him did you get it right?".

Offer us something that we haven't seen before. :)

Gerontius responds:

Erm. You mark it yourself? It doesn't auto-mark.

Multiple choice would be too easy. They're all well know pieces.
