Dark Comedy Rough Trailer

So this is a cartoon I've been writing and creating and all that stuff for the last few years. This trailer was animated by Glen Kennedy.

Sorry the audio is out of sync... been trying to fix that... heh, maybe because it isn't fully flash... yeah.. sorry about that too.

If anyone is a flash animator and is willing to work on this with me I have a few more shorts written to put up here.

Here's the premise of the series.

The good guys catch the bad guys, lock them up, and throw away the key. It's a story that has been told time and time again. On the flip side, what do the bad guys do in-between being thrown in jail and their next set of criminal deeds? When two oddly matched supervillains meet in prison they forge an unlikely alliance to strive for the same goal; Diversis City to be their playground. Goons, money, destruction, and fun are the tools of their trade, but first they'll have to get past their differences and unite under the banner of mischief and mayhem.
Finally, a good old-fashioned superhero cartoon... without all of that pesky truth and justice.

If you read all the way to here you are AWESOME!

wow this is pretty cool looking

it's just a little bit fuzzy but it's not to bad.

this looks like an interesting series. I cant wait to watch more of these!

TheDarkComedy responds:

Thank you for the comment.

Hopefully with enough exposure / new animator, I can make some more.
We have lots of fun shorts and full episodes to be made.

me gusta

no, I'm not gusta, but I like it a lot.

Elaborate the hero a bit more.

Very entertaining keep the art style similar I say. It makes it feel like Johnny Quest meets the Comics.

Release more soon!

TheDarkComedy responds:

I'm glad you like it.

The focus of the series is the 4 villains. The hero is supposed to be the lesser known character. He barely speaks in the series (well... in what's written so far).

I'd love to keep the animation, but Glen is really expensive, and I'm kind of broke.
We'll see what happens.

Thanks for the comment, and I'll try to release more.

You should get someone to animate, Seems like a good idea.

And why does silver hammer sound like Solid Snake?

TheDarkComedy responds:

He sounds like Solid Snake because that's how I sound when I try being gritty and superhero like... heh.

Looking for animators... pass it around!
