the concept is great...

...but the level design is just redicilously easy. The game wuld be great as a puzzle game, but all the puzzle elements is just extreamly straight forward. the only thing in the game thats challenging at all is just timing when you shuld move past the guns, wich wasnt really that challenging at all.

this wuld have been a superb game if it wuld have just had a little more puzzling level design. now everything was just extremely easy and linear.

Lot of unfulfilled promise

A lot of the thinking that went into this game is great - the various skills the humans have, the ability to release in mid-air for extra height, etc. But in the end, the levels are a huge let-down. They're almost completely linear, repetitive, and not even all that challenging. When you see a person, take them. Odds are you'll need them. When you see a door you can't open or a block you can't move, be on the lookout for a person that does that task.

I kept waiting for a level where you had to, for instance, skip taking the guard and come back for him later to shoot something, or use the engineer to build a bridge (by blocking holes) for a boss to get across. It never happened, and by level 40 I was plain-old bored with what felt like level after level of the Hangar zone from Contra back on the NES.
