Here's something I've been working on over the weekend after watching a few Naruto Shippuden episodes (yeah yeah shoot me). It's a good show but it relies too much on 'power/bloodline abilities' instead of just actual fist/swordplay.
You're a ninja. You can slice things. You can also stab your sword into a tree in midair and stand on it while you start throwing shuriken (work in progress).
If you guys could spot any bugs for me I'd appreciate it.
Current problems are:

* no preloader (it's a tiny file anyway)
* running doesn't always resume after jumping if Up key is still held
* sword-standing works in midair (anywhere)
* no shuriken throwing from sword-standing pose (work in progress)
* this is kind of lame (yes, yes it is - still like some feedback though)

its a nice, I think that the Sword standing is a funny bug
Makes it seem more like a hoverboard.. xD

it's altight.
my biggest concern if the jumping. you can't jump unless you're moving. and you have to hold it first? that's really strange...

I had a system where the 'jump' was toggled by the up key (not holding), but it seemed less smooth....
You reckon I should go back to it?

I like side scrollers! So, can't wait for it to be finished.

I think it's obvious what the problems are. Not bad on the art though. Put in more time on it, and don't keep posting it in different versions, wait intil you make a full verison of it then post it, otherwise your putting in garbage on Newgrounds.
