This is the first of several games produced as a 3 week "challenge" called Game Slam at Ninja Kiwi. The idea being that each team of 2 creates something original and complete inside the 3 weeks. This weeks game is Flur, by Chad Edwards and Derek Wu. In their words "Flur aims to be a progressive casual adventure with engaging and nonthreatening gameplay."

Very beautiful. There are no other words.

simple and elegant. perfect soundtrack and relaxing gameplay
could go for another level of difficulty or even a point where there is nothing but red orb structures to add a challenge later in the game once flight and powerup use is mastered.

The graphics are great for what it is, and I love the base gameplay mechanics, but I thought there was much untapped potential. You could stretch this game out so much more and offer a few more distractions from the gathering achievements. I also think the fairy should be a little smaller and grow as she gains energy. That would probably make it more like Flow, but who cares... it's a good RPG mechanic. I highly recommend adding some more story and progression elements.

Overall, it was a very relaxing game, but I thought it needed to provide the player more to do.

I thought it looked pretty, but I just kinda wanted more somehow. It got a little boring to me. Though if people are just looking for a game to relax and not do much or think about much, this is it.
