The Anthem of the Gamer.

The World is Saved is a new epic song and anthem for video game fans. Made in the pixel-art style of SNES (Super Nintendo) cutscenes, this video was a collaborative effort from IGN's Podcast Beyond community. IGN's Ryan Clements pulled together a small team of volunteers to animate a video for Danny Wiessner's latest single. The video debuted at the end of the live recording of Podcast Beyond Episode 200, which can be viewed here:

Very Nice

Both the music and art convinced me to share the emotions of this character. I did feel a bit victorious and I did feel slightly depressed. While I convey different emotions after I complete a game, most likely due to me choosing the dark side whenever I get the chance. That and sometimes games are a tool for me to go crazy with my imagination so as soon as I hit the sack I dream of my own story rather than all I have achieved and experience. Well a mesh of it actually.

Well done. Good clip.

Look bro, I'm gonna level with you. You did a good job for what it's supposed to be and everything, but I would never dare watch this with another human being present. It's just way too dorky.

A longtime gamer, I know the feeling you conveyd here, from beating the game to the experience to remembering it all! Very well done!

Art was awesome, and I love that you used 16-bit graphics, it added that much more of a vg touch to the tale!

I'll probably have this in my head and recite it word for word by the end of the day.
