Steamlands caught my eye and even better it's made by Nitrome, but when i went to play it i found it annoying to have to keep repairing my tank and once you go on to the next level you have to start over again.
As stated below, this game could do with some adjustments. For instance, having the engineer repair something goes WAAAAAAY too slow. All in all a good game nonetheless.
as a person who loves 'build games' and who is a massive steampunker i fell in love with the title and concept. after the 1st mission i had dreams of a long game where i struggled for survival prizing every piece of armour plating i could get my hands on to stay in the game until i had build a beheomoth worthy of any oponent. however i did not get to :( Every mission is a self contained game, so parts dont carry over. Its not one big game its lots of little games and with its lack of continuity i could not play it to the end.
Good execution, and I love the old-timey feel
It would have been nice to have the tank parts carry over levels though,
I didn't really care about upgrades or anything since I never knew what I'd be starting with (Instead of maintaining "my" tank)
