allot of this was hard to follow and confusing, if you clean up the story some it would be much nicer to watch, as it is its way too confusing.
This was amazing.
Truely you put on a show that had everything.
you Showed me a dream like state and a sense of insanity
you Showed me Life, its fragility, and Death.
you showed me a story i could understand, but still wonder about what it means.
you showed me a life of creatures that had character and made sense, even if it wasn't true.
you showed me Fiction in its purest form, even though it felt so real
You showed me the fall of somthing powerful, the rise of somthing weak, and they both were put together to make somthing silent, peaceful, and everstill.
its absolutely amazing what you did here Nothing has ever topped a story so creative, so dreamlike, so deep, so well made, somthing that had Everything and could still hold itself together as a story
You deserve to have an award, and you should publish a story like this in a book.
Something like this NEVER comes along, especially on the internet. You deserve the front page, and an award for such a wonderful story that could very easily become an INSTANT classic.
You are brilliant, and i thank you so much for making this masterpiece.
Haha, wow, I think the review you wrote might be a piece of art in itself! :) Thank you!
Outstanding. Great story and use of voice in the writing. Really enjoyed it.
Longest flash I ever saw
Also the only flash I've seen that gave credits for all the sound FX used.
I thought the story was pretty bland until the teeth decaying part, then it started taking off. I had a good laugh at the part where he's playing with the boat and the whale, and the Invisible Boy's 'powerwalk' was priceless. The animation wasn't really 'extraordinary' until the end where the moon was breaking apart. This is a nice change of pace for newgrounds, where video game parodies and crudely drawn experiments with lack of good humor are all to prevalent.
Easy going animation for a relaxing half hour
I actually quite enjoyed the animation as it flowed in all aspects, from music to narration to animation. The artsy cartoon style and pastel colors appeal to me, as well as the qualities of the animals, clouds and people.
I don't exactly understand the story per se, as events don't seem to always have an (obvious) consequence, for example the moon stepping on the boy. The diary tone of the story is also questionable when the moon "never forgives himself" since it suggests the entry is written long after the fact. Small things-to nitpick-about aside, this animation was a fluid, passively engaging tale (is that even possible?). It was great.
