These lesson is for the Mandarin (world language), not Cantonese (the People's language).

I bought a book...

This book says pretty much what you described without humor in a bland style. Its true, I mean those slightly different toned words will in turn show different Hanzi, multiple meaning..... different characters... OI so confusing... but its enjoyable... but hell...My teacher said American English is the hardest?.... bs... if my Grandparents could do it in their 50s... those lazy asses can too, cause if you think Am English is hard.. I dare you to tell me that after watching this.

I wasn't really paying attention to the lesson but the "You f-- a horse" part made me laugh. Good job at this

even though

yeah good or should i say Excellent explanation but even with those marks in it. Its still hard to find all those characters with that type of pronunciation. not to mention that there are about 64 characters and some of them just adding those 5 additional lines may or will change the meaning of the character which makes it MORE DIFFICULT to understand the entire thing. Imagine one line in a character could change everything. But wait there is more, the lines does not just make you change pronunciation but it also changes the meaning as well, PLUS not to mention that some Chinese characters HAVE THE SAME MEANING and with a few line changes it changes its full meaning. SO DIFFICULT.
