A Team Fortress 2 Soundboard for the Scout!

My original idea was to put all the characters in one soundboard, but that would have resulted in a mammoth filesize... maybe I will do that one day. For now, however, I will be submitting each character one at a time.

Good layout

Your soundboard is done pretty good. The sounds are clear and easy to understand. However, there where three sounds that had some sort background noise: "Kneecap", "Lotta good... gun" and "What you looking at?" all had a strange noise just at the end of the sound file.

Anyway, I liked that you added the theme song for the scout, this is a nice touch. Some of the quotes from Scout also fit quite good to the music, so it's possible to create a "best of scout" song now. ^^

The layout of the soundboard is pretty nice. Some soundboards tend to be an awful mess and it's impossible to find a sound again, but your soundboard looks very clean and sorted. All the buttons have an easy to read text, so it's easy to find the sound you want to hear.

It was good, but had some flaws

For starters, I liked the background and color scheme. They're aesthetically pleasing and remind me of TF2 (I've seen so many soundboards with blank backgrounds). The sound quality was good, and I liked both the sneak preview and theme music options. The "stop all sounds" button was a good feature too.

Again, it's a good soundboard, But you could change a few things. There weren't that many sounds on the board, and the "back to the menu" button kind of perplexed me, as it wasn't really a menu, just a play button (The play button scared the hell out of me the first time I clicked it, by the way). And, there is a noise that comes out after the sound is finished playing.

Overall, it was a good soundboard with good quality, but it had a few minor flaws.

Yeah, the menu was pretty blank; I had some more ideas for it that I'll probably explore with the next one. Thanks for the review!

Simple and nice

A fairly simple soundboard, it does the job and it looks pretty nice.

Menu is real simple. Just the buttons and a nice picture depicting the character the voices come from, the Scout. Nothing needs to be changed right there. Maybe the mute all sounds button could be a bit clearer? I actually missed it for some time, but just found it right now.

The audio quality is real nice, but there is some sort of noise whenever a piece cuts off, might want to fix that for the next one.

Yep, I will try and fix that on the next one. Thanks for the review!

Nice - Require some stuff..

Nice to see a Team Fortress's gadget with some nice design. The graphics overall are well done, I only think that the menu image should have a higher quality, it looks too much pixelated.

Two things this gadget requires:
1) Every end of a sound looks like it have some continuation, it gives a "boom", try cutting it off.
2) You need to add a mute button, it would help a lot.

Add variables to the sound doesn't repeat, like if you click pressing loads of times a button it starts the music everytime. Maybe you could do the first click a play; and the second click a pause.

There is a mute button (it says Stop All Sounds in the soundboard)

Thanks for the review, though

Very simple

I do like the simplicity of this, have never played the game myself but I do enjoy the Heavy and Scout's videos of them telling us who they are which is always good to have in a video game I think.

The buttons are very simple and once theme song has been played and started you can pretty much make him sing to the music which is pretty funny anyways along with fun.

The backgrounds are nice.

Overall, simple yet fun.
