This was just a little test to see if I could recreate some clock ideas I'd seen around.

The time displayed as text I've seen before on numerous apps on the android store and I decided I wanted to give it a go.

The background colour changes depending on what time it is. It takes the time and converts this into a hexadecimal value that is then set as the backgrounds colour. I'd seen this on: http://www.thecolourclock and wanted to see if I could do it. My result is not quite as good but I still like the way it turned out.

The other two clocks are very basic, but I'd never made them before and wanted to give them a go.

Remember this is a gadget, so please rate it on how well it performs as a gadget, not a game/movie.

Also, if anyone wants to ask me about this, how I made it or anything feel free to inbox me :)

Thanks :)

Interesting test

I don't think this should necessarily be blammed though; It's functional and cool :D
I would love to see a version of this with a backround that changes colors and some music! :D
Maybe you should make a "Strawberry Clock" Clock and submit it to see how it does? :D

Cool Beans!

The background does change colour, just very slowly depending upon the time.
Music and possibly a design on the background may be added in the future, depends how much exposure this gets I guess :p

Thanks for the review :)

I hadn't seen the second display before.

Have you created them yourself (the code)? Because it's very clever to give the time in the country where the viewer is, even the BBS hasn't got that.
Although there isn't much use of the clock here, it's way too big for somebody to use, and you don't start something like this up just to see the time.

But the test was successful, and since that was your intention, I see no flaw in the ''game''. But why a game? There isn't anything to click...

A clock

Ha! This should have been submitted on Clock Day! This would've been very fitting. :D

Well, not much to say about this one. Three different ways to display the time. A digital clock, a "textual clock" and an old style clock with roman numbers.

I like the idea of the background changing it's colour over time, it's a nice little extra touch.

But I was a bit surprised the clock did display the right time for me, since I live in a different time zone (one hour ahead of UK time). So, where does the clock did get the right time? --a simple test later-- OK, it's displaying my system time. So, does this work for different OS's as well or only for Windows? ^^

Anyway, this test turned out to be succesful. ;)
