It's high school all over again.
Lots of good and entertaining games can be found on this site, but from time to time absolutely stunning ones appear. This is one of those games.
The plot is set with great skill and is truly interesting, mini games are fun and challenging but not too difficult, the world is big and there's lot to discover... I mean, come on, this game feels more like a console than a flash game. The length was more than enough for a flash game and this was only the first part!
If I'dd say a single word of complaint about this game, I would be lying. These kind of games are the ones I visit this site for.
but some lol things
Might I turn the attention of any possible observer of this review to your words, and I quote;
"hates whoever plays his games"
And thereon may I note,
"My 4 year old cousin speaks better English than you wrought in this game"
That would be, 'whomever plays his games', captain literacy. XD If you're going to raise the pot, make sure you have the cards.
This game was quite enjoyable, if a tad measured in slight literacy and storytelling- as soon as I saw the suspicion the teacher (name I do not recall) at the protagonist speaking with the other child- at the very start- I knew the upcoming twist. However, once you get past such small elements, it has a certain charm that is ill-found. I also enjoyed the punk feel from the overall 'sketchiness' of the school, only added to by the ability to use the camera filter to grey the coloration of the screen to suit that feel.
I eagerly await the sequel. ^_^
I really liked the game but I have some ideas for improving the writing. For example in the mission where a girl's handbag is lost, you introduce the idea of her best friend might have stolen it but you don't really explore this idea. As it turns out, the most obvious guy stole the purse (the School Thief). Well, let the best friend stole it. She might have some grudge over a boy or something and she might have wanted her to pay. That would be a lot more interesting.
So, I really think when you're writing the script, you can really explore some elements of conflict. By doing this, you can shock the player and not just become predictable.
But overall, I'm really amazed by the art style, coding and stuff. Yes, there wasn't a lot of things to interact and do stuff freely but I just passed 3 hours of my time having fun and thank you for that.
The game was amazing,but the spanish traslation is just horrible...
