Story of the Blanks is a short creepypasta fangame created in Adobe Flash. It was created for a game developing contest at Equestria Gaming
( )

The game is constrained to use genuine NES graphics and graphical limitations (down to the very 8 sprites per line limitation). Most if not all the music in the game was created by various people using famitracker (a NES/famicon tracker).

The excellent music was made by

You rock, woohoo!

Oooh, a MLP game! And 8-bit too! I can't wait too see what fun adventure awaits Applebloom!

*15 minutes later*

And I officially won't be getting any sleep tonight.

That was... beyond creepy and scary. It was disturbing, out of place and allover simply not right. I guess that's what makes it so good.

The atmosphere is built up so perfectly with the music and the scenery change and the last bit of "chase" literally stopped my breath until I finished it. I will be the first to say that 8-bit scary music is probably the scariest type of music there is.

Kudos for the art! I enjoyed it thoroughly, though maybe a bit more detailing would be in order. Just for the sake of atmosphere. Not really necessary.

The story is lacking a bit in explanation, but I kind o like it that way actually. Leaves a creepy mystery to lurk around in your mind.

Definitely an awesome play. :)

Good game. A little hard to believe that this story could happen in the world, MLP, But this game is really interesting (though a bit short). The benefit of thanks to an 8-bit graphics and music, everything looks very nice and remembers a time when there been popular 8-bit games.

This game is creepy!
First I thought this would be a nice Pony-RPG.
But then it turned into a Pony-Horror game!
And I liked that, it startled me too :)
