Another fantastic post!
Thank you for publishing these. It is an eye-opening discussion, time after time. I've since gone back and viewed your others and am just as elated to watch them. I've been trying to turn as many people as I can onto these as I feel it opens up possibilities in many facets of thought.
In short, I wholly appreciate your work. Keep 'em coming! ( math and all :) )
Good, but not quite as good.
To be blunt, I've got some issues with this.
Having more stands of DNA doesn't really make sense, as DNA comes in pairs, as oppose to RNA.
Though having more DNA doesn't make us better, as we already have plenty of DNA that sits around in chromosomes, inactive.
Not only that, but we don't evolve constantly. It is only at when people combine their DNA to put in their offspring in which mutations occur, that child with three strands instead of two was definitely born that way.
Saying that having more strands of RNA leads to becoming a greater being only makes sense IF you present that only simple creatures like viruses contain RNA.
Not only that, but "crystalline beings as oppose to carbon based beings" is almost a laughable concept, as "crystalline" is not an element, and not even matter, where as carbon is much more tangible. We could become crystalline carbon (ie diamonds) but anything that is crystalline must be matter that is in a lattice.
mi ... mind ... is ... gonna ... blow... yet, keep the good work.
i can tell that you are canadian. AWESOME!
blew my mind
I thought this was gonna be another religion bashing vid but I was greatly suprised and happy by the actual video! Fantastic job, I look forward to more of these.
If we spend all of our time bashing religion, we can't take anything away from it. This of course applies to science as well though. They can fit harmoniously together. :)
