This was my final submission for the first year of my animation degree. We were commanded to do a rough pencil test demonstrating basic character movement, and I finished it because I'm a geek.
Animation was drawn in Flash/Toom Boom Studio
Backgrounds drawn in Corel Painter
Edited in Adobe Premiere and Audacity
Used a Wacom Intuos 3
Not sure how well the "Pavlov" thing works...
Hmm...while I see why you'd call it 'Pavlov's Box', I'm not sure it fits that well. For it to be anything like conditioning, wouldn't that suggest repetitions of the consequence? In this case, he hadn't experienced the cat jumping out and mauling him before, so he couldn't very well be conditioned not to touch the box. However, if this had happened more than once, it would have made more sense...still, not too bad.
That was pretty good. But because this is something that kind of bothers me, wouldn't the box be Shrodinger's?
It was a choice between Shrodinger or Pavlov. The reason I went with the latter it because our victim seemingly failed be conditioned to leave stuff the hell alone.
The animation was pretty cool, i jumped off from my chair when the cat popped out in the box! XD
Subpar is haunted by an evil spirit on Halloween night!
A short animation about some glorious ice creams
