Music is your only weapon is this music powered top down shooter. Everything from your shooting to enemy movement and attacks are powered by the music.
I spent quite a bit of time trying to get this to work with Music Quest tech, but I eventually realized that it is just not possible due to restrictions that youtube has on its videos. So I decided to make a static setlist from rediff.com.

dude awesome idea, i think if you just work on about way for the music to sync up with the gameplay (i dont know if youre going by the bass or tempo or volume of the songs), chuck in some more better songs and make some better graphics this could be one of my favourite games on here.

I feel sorry for you Derek, you have to live with all the idiots who can't get it to work, despite clear instructions.
Anyway, the rhythm is more noticeable if you have a slow net connection like me, so the firing freezes every 10 seconds. Other than that, perhaps you can implement more creative ways of gameplay than just Asteroid-style shooting - one simple solution - UPGRADES, turrets, while your attack power increases, game gets ever more difficult. You know the drill.

I like the music idea, but overall the idea doesn't seem all that refined. It took me forever to get it to work (flash in other tabs). The music didn't really enhance the gameplay. It was just like playing a pretty basic game with iTunes on. I'd prefer to see a logical connection between the two.

When choosing any song I get a black screen, and absolutely nothing happens.

That happened because you had a youtube video or some kind of flash video player open in another tab. There is a glitch with flash that won't let me analyze the music if there is a another flash video open in a diff tab.
