I freaking LOVE this game omg! This is good enough to be released on a handheld console like the DS no joke.

I am currently at the second map and I can't wait to see what happens next in the storyline.

As a reviewer below me said: Its like an awesome visual novel with an added shooter into it.

Seriously, it has to be of the BEST games I have ever played on Newgrounds (and I've played quite a few of them, just check out my profile lol!).

You should seriously look into getting this ported to a game system :D

ok now to make the correct review over this game
first of all i love this game without a doubt..despite the fact that i messed up and didn't set my cpu to allow unlimited data storage for this game (which in turn caused the data to be unable to be saved..level 137 character down the drain) but that of course is my own folly
just saying that so that others don't make the same mistake i did
as far as the game itself goes..the bosses are a bit repeatable..but u do add some neat stuff to the 3rd area bosses which helps keep it interesting
the final boss was definately not impossible..but still makes sure you go into that batlle completely prepared as iblis is nothing to sniff at (i actually overfarm so that way on newgameplus u can beat the firebolt at the prologue)
the storyline is great and the special ending is worth getting ..actually made me smile 100%
new game plus was done perfectly and it increases the challenge should u decide not to use the stat points and upgrade your guns (id love to see some1 go through 3 rounds of new gameplus with only level 1 guns and no stat points used or be a pacifist and don't destroy anything except the required enemies to beat the game aka the bosses)
a small annoyance would be that at the higher levels when starting a new game plus..i found myself clicking over 730 times just to adjust my stat points..(kinda time consuming tbh) couldn't really find a method to alter my stat points all at once
the auto fire is a nice function to have for those who are not button mashy and definately this game is suitable for many ages(not all of course)
great gameplay..and a great battle system overall it got its 5 stars because it is also unique and you won't find many games that have such great quality as this one does as far as the free to play department goes
if an anime was made of definately support it as this game really seems like it could fit well as an anime as well sum it all up..great job! deserve every credit you get for creating such an awesome game and i would love to see a starwish 2

That was an beautifully made game, the art, the combat, the upgrading, the music and the story. It all fit together nicely, though some of the story and talking were rather long for my liking, especially in the beginning.
I liked how you could upgrade you ship and level up in your own way, not being restricted to one type of battle. As well as the seemingly endless supply of upgrades on hand.
The music was very fitting and well made as well as helping to fit the atmosphere and improve the impact of certain scenes.

The only fault I can see in this game is in your Author Comments, saying that it is a Dating Sim. I did not see this as much of a Dating sim, as you could never ask user choice questions to romantic interest, or give gifts or find out how far in a relationship you were with someone.
The main character kinda seemed to be a "playa" as whenever I hung out with the female characters he seemed to get infatuated with all of them. Though this doesn't hinder the game that much, I wouldn't give it the description or genre of a Dating Sim.

Overall, this was an amazing game with very little faults. A good Long game, especially if your not looking for a 10min game.

Ill start off with the only thing not awesome about it i guess, the in-battle graphics and stuff wasnt super awesome, not bad, but nothing really that outstanding.

Now with the other stuff: the upgrade system was nice, only thing i woulda liked in addition is if i could always somehow upgrade stuff i had ;-; (didnt even see a wave cannon thingy till about 4 levels after deadeye researched it) but it was still a great upgrade system for a flash game

The story was... just... mind-blowingly awesome. In my opinion, this rivals and may beat the epic battle fantasy series (person to person opinion of course, i personally couldnt say which i like better) for the best story for any flash game out there, all the characters were great, lots of plot twists and surprises; the story is probly what kept me hooked on to this game, and the ending was enjoyable.

So... suggestions from me would include... well, better graphics in the game if possible, maybe tweak the upgrading system a little, to make it so you can upgrade some weapons more easily so you dont have to rely on chancing by them which is a little bit of a problem late game (although it does add a fairly unique aspect to the game), the module system is a nice feature though, liked it cause it kept people from just buying a billion of them and becoming practically invulnerable. Also the cafe thing was a nice feature but i might have liked to have had a little control in the conversations where it wouldnt directly interfere with the plot, since the description says dating sim.

So, without further adieu,
