The Story

A man wakes up alone in a dark room, to discover he's locked down inside an abandoned, and apparently haunted, house. What begins as a simple escape game, room by room it becomes a whole journey through the search of the reason of why he is there, and only discovering it will free him at last.

Two keys lead you to two different endings.

We did this game for our final of Multimedia class.
48 hours, little bit more maybe.

Fer doesn't have a NG account so I'm uploading it.
It still have some glitches, you'll have to pixel hunt the items. We made it on purpose so you feel frustration like the character is supposed to.

If you are looking for something too fancy and complicated this game is just a story with a hidden meaning, that might seem pretty obvious after the first two levels.

I did the music with Fer's feedback at this site:

Learn a lesson, and maybe have some frustrating fun.

"purpose so you feel frustration"

You got that right.
The Game us frustrating, and no the good way a well made point and click adventure is like. This game is dry, ascetically ugly, Incomprehensible plot and trying to see where you avatar is is next to difficult.

Snivella responds:

Thank you, that's what the game is supposed to make you feel. I'll try harder next time, thank you for your comment :)

1st: you didn't explain what the controls are...
2nd: at start i couldn't see where my character was...
3rd: i encounter some glitch on the starting screen when a click left mouse button a lot of times... and i could continue the game...
4th: the music doesn't loops so when it's over there is only silence there...

Nevertheless you don't have to do fancy graphics to make a good game... It had nice atmosphere and a unique way for doing things... So good luck on your future games!!! :)
