Enjoy a sport that has been the pass-time of kings, hunters and warriors for 4000 years!

George Plimpton's Video Falconry was brought to our attention by the Judge John Hodgman podcast. Originally made for the Colecovision in 1983, we've gone to great lengths to painstakingly port one of the few existing copies.

Happy Falconing!

So ya...

@Pikerobo FLAME ON!

Though seriously he did bring up th controls as well and I have to agree. They are a little much. I can't complain much I played the game, had fun and chuckled at the fact this silly thing was doing so. The music was kinda catchy. Graphics I mean it was based of ColecoVision so not the best by modern standard but god for this parody. The bonus levels were random yet a nice break up from the main game...thouhg the sudden change from not just hitting the number buttons threw me for a loop. Over all 9/10 mainly it was the controls I think there could have been something done with them just can't say what to improve them atm.

This game is great!

I'm kinda suprised at how people say the controls are terrible,all you had to do was hit the " Num Lock" button and play on the Number pad to emulate colecovision controls. That made the game much more easy to play. Game play is tight and a little frustrating. Bonus levels were... sorta fun. I just felt that quick time events are done too much, but whatever, just a nit pick. Still, it's great arcade action for the wohle family.

the game is fine, and the backstory is one of those things that, even if it is fake or something, it makes you go "WOW, DID THAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN!?" and makes you investigate. Awesome

Pretty awesome.

The back story is completely amazing! The game play could be better, but all in all it's a great game.

Game wasn't that fun, video made up for it.

The charming little mockumentary video at the game's start screen cracked me up. Chris Hardwick's voicework also caught me by surprise. Web Soup FTW.

Anyway, I'd like to point out that the actual game part only kept my attention for 30 minutes. I would have given it a lower score without the video.
