Enjoy a sport that has been the pass-time of kings, hunters and warriors for 4000 years!

George Plimpton's Video Falconry was brought to our attention by the Judge John Hodgman podcast. Originally made for the Colecovision in 1983, we've gone to great lengths to painstakingly port one of the few existing copies.

Happy Falconing!

Great Effort

The game sucked. It was real boring. Having said that, The game itself was a great look back to the 80s. Because It isn't my kind of thing, I'll give you guys a five because I know you all worked hard on it.

Fantastic work.

This game is fantastic and a great representation of what Colecovision was like. For those that don't understand the controls, have you ever seen a Colecovision controller? It has a number pad with an analog stick. It makes a lot of sense if you've actually played a Colecovision.

As weird and unwieldy the controls are...

...the game is great in the sense that once you know how to play and conquer the controls and beat a level, you feel really satisfied. A great little time-waster.

It's hard to familiarise with the controls

This would have been a pretty entertaining and original game (I like this old school stuff!), but seriously, what kind of controls are THAT?

Game wasn't that fun, video made up for it.

The charming little mockumentary video at the game's start screen cracked me up. Chris Hardwick's voicework also caught me by surprise. Web Soup FTW.

Anyway, I'd like to point out that the actual game part only kept my attention for 30 minutes. I would have given it a lower score without the video.
