Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!
For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 164 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!
Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!
An okay game
Nothing really to see here. If you've played High / Low type games before, this won't blow them away or anything.
But outside of the innovativeness, I found that the "High" / "Low" buttons I had to click felt a bit confusing. Why is there an arrow pointing down on the "High" button, and an up arrow on the "Low" button? And at first I couldn't make out from the instructions whether clicking "High" meant that the top card was the high card or if the bottom card was the high card.
I'd suggest making it "Higher" and "Lower" instead and more clearly indicating which card it was talking about.
Also, you should explain what the rules for ties are and whether Ace is equivalent to "1" or "14". You find out pretty quickly when it shows up, but it's annoying to realize I was expecting that aces were high for some reason.
Not bad at all. Reminds me of that old game show Card Sharks. :D
Not as fun as it appears
I found this flaw:once you start to play, you cant go back to the menu.
And once you finish(lose), it asks you if you want to play again, but it doesnt gives you the option to quit?
Sorry, but this game is too simple to program it, and not so interesting.
