Laïka

It started as a coding exercise, controlling a ball with the mouse was amusing so I began putting stuff around it. I wanted to add a little retro touch so I decided to pay homage to the iconic Laïka, first living being send into space and who died aboard Sputnik II after a few hours, due to cooling malfunction (wich is kind of tragic). Anyway I tried to keep new stuff coming level after level. I did lots of tests to get a good difficulty progression, I hope you enjoy!

any tips? i can't pass mission 22

still needs improvement

There are some issues with the controls, at least when moving the ship in diagonal. It keeps shaking like it doesn't really know where it's going. Also, I didn't like the fact that to resume the game you can only click the ship, anywhere would be just fine. And the colisions should take less damage, if are hit by an asteroid and it passes through you, your energy bar will decrease very fast. Other than that it's a good time killer, little bit challenging when the spheres appeared, also, they were very useful to help destroying stuff (thank god you didn't put lasers on a ship piloted by a dog).

Funny and addicting!

Pretty funny intro. This game seems to have an adequate amount of work done on it, which I give props to! Great job sir!

Cute. And creative.

I like the premise of this game--cutesy, with smooth and creative gameplay, a historically accurate base, and it's just fun overall. Good job, GUIJI. :)
