It's got the makings of a game.
I see potential here, but it seems to be in the Alpha stages; I'm quite interested in seeing how it ends up.
I like the sounds when you pop the....things.
I see several things that still need to be done/could increase game-play, but I'm sure you're aware of most of those things; adding more levels, power-ups, different enemies.
I think it would also be awesome to be able to shoot in 360 degrees; basically, have another set of controls. [[w,a,s,d?]] that manipulates the direction the guns shoot?
Furthermore, losing all your lives--at current---brings no special screen; I'm able to continue moving as normal, and It took me a moment to realize I had lost any life because there is no sound nor notification. Also, when I lose a life it keeps me in the same place instead of reverting to a 'spawnpoint,' so the same thing could kill me three times in a single second.
To go on even further, when I left the area and returned, my lives did not replenish.
It would be interesting---though not necessary---if you could find a more suave and elegant way of presenting the change in levels; and again, maybe you could get cash or something from killing the enemies, which could be used in a shop to upgrade?
Music wouldn't be necessary, but it'd also make the game a lot better.
In all, I am *VERY* interested in seeing how this turns out. Good luck! ^^
Thanks for the suggestions on that if you read my new post you can see the improvements I make also the cash thing gave me an idea to a currency! Thanks and I will make this game a good one. I might post a Beta version when I can.
