Beautiful game, great concept, a major glitch
It was a visually beautiful game- from the background to monster to the characters to the items.
The concept of pet applies a lot to pet-lovers such as myself, and you only nailed it in by giving us an adorable fox-monster as our first pet. You have the 'baby' monsters and then their bigger counterparter. The only thing I have about it is that I'd rather the eggs hatch into the baby version, and as they level up, they will become mature when they reach a certain level.
I do love the bosses, for they are unique in their design.
I do love the battle-style, althrough I do wish that the map could be more.... detailed when you use it. After all, sometimes I've gotten myself lost because I don't know where leads to where.
However, there is a major glitch in your game. I am the type of person that would play for example, 30 minutes, save, leave and then return to re-play it again 15 minutes later. However, I can't even hit play- the downloading bar never appeared and therefore, I couldn't hit the play button, which mean I can't access the menu and contiune the saved button. All I could do is stare at the title of the game and the pub itself. Five hours later, and I still can't replay it.
This happened to me yestesday as well. Rested assured, no damage was done to our save file; we were simply prevented from accessing to the game itself.
This is a very major glitch for us frequent replayers.
The game was fun and the bugs were forgivable, and the character customization was nice. I'd like to note that the character holds his weapon in his left hand walking left and in his right hand walking right. It really is trivial, but it was still very odd. Other than that, I would suggest keybinds for quick inventory and map access etc., and easier crafting without the whole animation - especially when you have a bad combination. The innkeeper raising price per level is also somewhat annoying - though the inn can be ignored for the whole game. At any rate, the gameplay is simple yet fun, the day/night cycle is interesting, and the variety with monsters and gear made this all an awesome experience.
To creat a ruby sphere requires 3 rubies, to get a ruby, you have to combine 6 ruby shards, like you do with hide to make leather. It takes a total of 18 ruby shards to make a ruby globe. The same goes for sapphire, emerald, and iron.
...the game won't let me create a sapphire, ruby, or emerald globe when I combine three of them with the Alka-thing.
i like the game but i cant get into it today ........
