The Killer was inspired by the month I spent traveling through and learning about Cambodia. You can learn more at GameTrekking.com.

This is art.
Just beatiful.

The music..

Beautiful, but unfortunately flawed.

This really was an incredible game. The entire game really reached out to me. The Jonsi track seemed to have been made for it, the music was integrated so well. The gameplay, while simple, really gave the audience an opportunity to lose themselves in the game.

Sadly, I did have some problems with the game, first and foremost being the lag. i experienced terrible lag on Newgrounds, so much so that I had to go to your website, play it, then come back here for the review. Even then the lag made it an unpleasant journey.
I think it would be crucial to get this fixed, since the lag in the ending cinematic (where everything is revealed) was jittery and really broke the moment for me.

Other than that though, "The Killer" was great. Great message, beautiful scenery, and an excellent way of educating people.

Absolutely wonderful

Beautiful, just beautiful. You made me feel like crying. I got blown up the first time, which was jarring to say the least, and then through my second play shot into the sky. I hope this stays up here for a long time so I can keep coming back. Thank you. I wish everyone had the ability to feel the impact of this the way it was meant. And a big part of the beauty of it is in the subtlety.

I played this game thousands of times, so I was REALLY surprised when apparently I stepped on a LANDMINE.

Was that recently added or something?
