Hard anyways

Going to start off with just asking why not use a Newgrounds preloader? Just asking because I have never really enjoyed listening to those ads that pop in with those kind of preloaders to say the least.

The game itself was challenging anyways. The blue and red rooms were harsh however there was one room that I spent more time on than any other room in the game sadly and that is the third screen.

I started off seeing it could possibly be a fun game but then I came there and spent roughly around twenty minutes just trying to get the jump perfect to fit into that small space near the top. I would reconsider possibly lowering the area a little bit so players can get in there a bit easier rather than just allowing most players to get frustrated there and quit. If they quit there because of how hard the jump is then likely they won't get to enjoy the rest of the game.

Every other area in the game was just perfected though. Guy runs a bit faster than I thought he would as well.

The audio used was very nice too. The gameplay physics were good except for once again wall jumping because from time to time when I was going to jump he would simply fall again which discouraged me a bit actually. Kind of adds a challenge though.

The graphics used in this game were very nice yet simple at the same time. Since this is an early version I hope the future versions offer a bit better game play physics anyways.

Overall, just need to fix up the physics a bit is all and the landscape of a couple of rooms.

challenging but beatable

It took me a few minutes to become comfortable with the controls but overall not bad at all. The blue room seems to be too hard for the second level and should probably follow the red room. It was certainly hard but not too hard. I had fun. Nice compliment at the end.

Actually the blue room is easier than you may think. Although, it appears to be very difficult at first glance, when you understand how to complete it then it's very easy. You may have completed level 2 incorrectly so it seemed hard. The game becomes incrementally more difficult as you progress. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the review.

You are right. it is hard T.T

Well, I'm not one to fancy hard games first of all. But that doesn't affect your score.

Firstly, I had HUGE trouble with the jumping. I feel like the character could've jumped a bit higher.

Another thing was the wall jumping thing, I just...(epic failed).

I liked the music, and the animation ^.^ I feel like you could ease up on the difficulty. I'm new around here, but it seems like most people don't really like very hard games. Overall, I think this could be good!

Maybe show a demonstration in the tutorial of how it's suppose to be done, then have the player do it his/her self?

Very difficult

Wow, the game is very detailed, but I found it incredibly hard to get to grips with. I like that you've put so much effort into it in making it a very detailed game, but there are issues that need to be addressed in later versions:

Building up a head of steam is something I like about the game - it's more natural than some of the other games of this ilk that we tend t see. However, you seem to have neglected the standing jump when standing next to a wall. If I'm pointing at the wall and press space, I can't jump, which is frustrating.

With the controls interface, you let go of the wall, by pressing space without a direction - mistiming the direction presses costs me dearly here, so I'd suggest that pressing something else will let you drop. Perhaps Space and down?

It was a shame that I couldn't get much further, as the game looks enjoyable. I would like to see it slightly easier, so that the casual player such as myself might get a little further. You did have a nicely detailed (and quite challenging) tutorial as well, so that made a difference to getting me integrated.

Once you click away from the game, and click back in, you can no longer hatch to walls. And even if you try to get over that bug, the whole wall hatching is very difficult, like no matter how much I tried to get ahold of the left right left right jumping to go upwards, I just couldn't do it, I guess the time lag is what affects it, but it could use a bit more work, good work on it though.
