This is just a real short demo of a project I'm working on. I would really love alot of comments and please keep it valuable not something like it's bad. Really looking for constructive critisium here so I can improve it based on the results. Thank you for playing the demo and giving helpful advice on how to improve it =D.

cool music, gameplay, and graphics. could use better graphics for that boss... thing... whatever it is. and also when you finish the ull game, make some bosses.


It's alright and it seems to have potential. There a few issues as well(Yes, I know it's a demo), for instance jumping is far quick and can make you have a mistake(like dying). The health bar and magic bar okay, but falling kind of ruins it. Maybe if you just lost some health was plugged at certain point, it would help. I didn't finish it, but I also see that text blocks need some work as well. All in all, it has a lot of potential. Good luck. ^^

has a good base to be a good game but...

the jumping is really glitchy i was jumping on nothing to climb on the steps, and then walking into nothing and getting stuck, also there should be some thing that lets you know that you got hit and that you attacked and hit your target i was kinda guessing, and didnt know if i was killing the monsters by walking into them or actually attacking, also the monster hanging from the roof, was i suppose to kill that cause i couldn't think of a way to so i hopped over the invisible steps and ended the game.

Could be a okay game but needs some work

Some quick feedback, as requested.

Not bad, but HP and MP bar needs a dedicated interface, with stylized containers. On that note, it'd be a good idea to add a HUD. Also, not sure how the 8-bit character sort of thing will work on such a contrasting background and the cartoony style of the enemies. I feel that your game would improve with a consistent graphical style/feel/mood.

A lot like Super Meat Boy - momentum based movement that's really hard to control once you build it up. Please drop it, or make it easier to change direction.

There were a couple other bugs; e.g., to get the fire orb, you actually have to jump on a couple phantom platforms, which to the untrained eye just give you a huge jump bonus in that one area. Drop it, and place a visible platform there. Also, there are phantom barriers in other parts of the level, and those need to go, too.

But from what I'm seeing in this demo, it looks like it has the potential to be a great game! I'd love to see what you're going to do with it.
